Deep ruby red with purplish glints; the nose shows good aromatic complexity with plum, black cherry and violets, plus subtle hints of vanilla and cocoa. The palate is friendly, with round, silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. A wine of excellent structure, complex and elegant.

Winemaking
Grown at 900–1,200 m (2,950–3,600 ft) altitude in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. Made as a co-fermented wine: separate Malbec lots from Altamira and La Consulta are fermented together in stainless steel to intensify and combine the character of both sites. Aged 12 months in barrel and 6 months in bottle.
About Kauzo
Kauzo is a Uco Valley label built around a single co-fermented Malbec, in which two lots grown separately in Altamira and La Consulta are fermented together to intensify and combine the character of both sites. The wines are presented in the same Go Wine portfolio section as Marcelo Pelleriti and Miguel Priore's other Mendoza labels, though the sheet does not itself name a parent winery for the Kauzo brand.
