Wine tastings, made to measure

We design wine experiences around the occasion, from private gatherings and celebrations to professional sessions for restaurants, companies and groups.

Tastings and wine experiences

Our aim is to combine knowledge, entertainment and a hands-on experience, building each tasting around the level, the interests and the needs of the people in the room.

The occasion

Guests standing along a long table of glassware in a bright room lined with wine racks

Events and celebrations

Parties, corporate events and trade shows. Format, length and number of wines fit the event.

A sommelier pouring for a chef at a restaurant counter lined with glasses and open bottles

Restaurant teams

Wine knowledge, service, selling and pairing for front of house. Training and motivation at once.

An evening tasting at a long table beside a pool, strung with lights, hosts talking to seated guests

Private tastings

Friends, family, birthdays and anniversaries. The wines are picked around the group.

An instructor pointing at a projected map of the wine regions of the world, bottles on the table in front

Professional sessions

Technical work for the wine and hospitality trade: varieties, regions, winemaking, terroir and style.

A full restaurant dining room of seated guests at a tasting, a presenter standing at one side

Larger groups

From a small gathering to a full room. The wines and the level of difficulty move with the audience.

Bespoke experiencesAny of these can be built from scratch. Wines, theme, technical level, length, numbers and pairings, all to your brief.Plan yours →

The format

Vertical

Several vintages of one wine, to taste how it ages.

Horizontal

One vintage across producers, plots and styles.

Blind

Labels hidden. You work from the glass alone.

Competition

Teams, challenges and a scoreboard.

Pairings

Wines matched to dishes, course by course.

A wine experience can be educational, professional, gastronomic, or simply good fun. Designing it is our part.

Plan yours

Tell us how many people, where, and what you want them to walk away with. Gustavo will come back with a format, the wines and a date.

Looking for something ongoing instead, such as training a floor team or rebuilding a wine list? That side of the work is on sommelier services. Real Vinum sells wine only to licensed Florida trade accounts; experiences and education are booked separately.
