Winemaking
A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot from Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, and 30% Malbec from Los Árboles, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Grapes are hand-picked into 12 kg (26 lb) bins in stages within the estate and harvested in the early morning so they reach the winery cool; bunches that do not meet quality and health standards are discarded in the vineyard. Fermented 100% with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats for 20 days at 24-30°C, each variety fermented separately with intensive manual extraction, then blended for aging. 50% of the total volume is aged 8 months in used French and American oak barrels. Recommended serving temperature 16-18°C.
