Boada Crianza
Boada · D.O.P. Ribera del Duero
Attractive, dark cherry-red color with ruby glints. Clean on the nose, with fruit aromas mingling well with the oak: notes of vanilla, toast, spices, licorice and truffles. Great structure on the palate: fleshy, soft, expressive and full, with sweet, well-integrated tannins and a great lingering finish.
Pairs with: Excellent with red meats, roasted or grilled meats, cured cheeses and smoked sausage meats.

Winemaking
100% Tempranillo from a 30-year-old vineyard. Hand-harvested in small crates with double sorting, first in the vineyard and then in the cellar. Destemmed, then macerated for 12 days with daily pump-overs. Alcoholic fermentation controlled at 28°C in stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation, fining and racking. Aged 16 months in American and French oak barrels, then further in bottle. Serve at 16–18°C. Store at 12–18°C, bottle on its side. Shelf life: 8 years from the printed date. Contains sulfites.
