Cherry red with blue-tinged rim, showing marked youth. A powerful, fruity and fresh nose, with red and black fruit combined with spicy, toasted oak notes. Mature and well-balanced on the palate, with sweet tannins and freshness that give it complexity.
Pairs with: Prosciutto pizza, grilled chicken and Iberian charcuterie tapas. Its young, fruity profile suits simple preparations and Mediterranean flavors.

Winemaking
100% old-vine Garnacha, from vineyards on red clay soils with traditional bush-vine (vaso) training. Hand-harvested from the first week of October. Traditional method. Fermented at 26ºC with temperature control. After a maceration of 10 days the must is bled off for malolactic fermentation, after which the wine is aged on its lees in French oak barrels for at least 4 months. Serve at 16–18ºC. Presented in a Burgundy-style bottle.
About Agustín Cubero
Bodegas Agustín Cubero is a family winery founded in 1881 in Godojos, a small village near Calatayud (Aragón), and moved to the town of Calatayud itself in 1997; the fifth generation of the Cubero family now runs the vineyards and winemaking. The estate works old, centuries-old vines of the autochthonous Garnacha and Tempranillo (red) and Macabeo (white) varieties within D.O. Calatayud, on clay soils and slate terraces, with low yields of 1.5-2 kg per vine.
