Winemaking

Grown on clay-and-limestone soils under a Mediterranean climate with continental character; made by slow, low-temperature maceration with crushing, then vinified in the traditional way under controlled temperature.

Bernard Magrez owns the Le Prelat estate in the Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun appellation, on the right bank of the Rhône in the Gard region near Châteauneuf-du-Pape, on a hill called Caesar's Camp where vines have been grown for two thousand years.
