Winemaking
Renard Barnier is a récoltant-manipulant (grower-producer) Champagne house based in Villevenard. The importer's own figures give the blend as 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay at 12% alcohol; note that several retailer listings for this same cuvée instead describe a Blanc de Noirs of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier; see notes file for this conflict. Non-vintage; the house ages its cuvées a minimum of three years, this one reportedly on the lees with a substantial proportion of reserve wine. Suggested serving temperature 7–10°C.
