Bodega Malma · San Patricio del Chañar
Ruby red in color, with a fruity nose of ripe fruit, spice, and a subtle background of tobacco. On the palate it opens sweet, with good volume and a structure of tannins rounded by the interplay with oak. An approachable wine with a long finish.
Pairs with: Bife de chorizo, grilled beef ribs and braised lamb. Its tannic structure and black fruit match red meats of good intensity.

Malma is a word of the original inhabitants of Patagonia meaning pride. Owned by the Viola family, Bodega Malma was a viticultural pioneer in San Patricio del Chañar, Neuquén (Argentine Patagonia), where its vineyards sit at 39° south latitude around 300 m.a.s.l. Its wines are made exclusively from the estate's own grapes, so the family oversees every stage from vineyard to bottle.
