Duquesa de la Victoria Crianza
Valdelana · D.O.Ca. Rioja · Rioja Alavesa
Intense, bright picota-red with great color depth. Balanced fruit character with balsamic notes and thyme over a backdrop of cedar wood; blueberries and wild blackberries with undertones of vanilla and cinnamon. Great balance between fruit and oak on the palate, powerful yet refined, with an intense, persistent aftertaste where banana and strawberry merge into a coating of cocoa.
Pairs with: Pairs excellently with assorted tapas, meats, stews, legumes and traditional local dishes.

About Valdelana
The Valdelana family has grown grapes in Elciego (Rioja Alavesa) since the end of the 19th century, farming around 150 hectares of Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano, Viura and Malvasía at fairly low yields. Juan Jesús Valdelana, third generation of the family, is winemaker and manager; the estate produces wines exclusively from its own grapes to control quality from vineyard to bottle.
